Dr. Miller double majored in General Science and Anthropology at the University of Oregon. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Miller studied dentistry at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She then spent an additional year completing an advanced education residency in General Dentistry while serving 5 years as a dentist in the US Army with a deployment to Iraq.
She is currently a Lieutenant Colonel with the Army Reserves.
As an active member of the community, she’s a board member for Central Oregon Community College, volunteers on the mobile dental van monthly to help homeless veterans in Central Oregon, was past Vice President for the Central Oregon Dental Society and is a board member of The Kemple Clinic.
Dr. Miller has a passion for sleep medicine and has spent hundreds of hours doing continuing education in adult and pediatric sleep disorder breathing to include a residency program at UCLA. She is currently the only qualified dentist in dental sleep medicine in Central Oregon and is in the process of obtaining her board certification in the subject.
In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Miller also has additional training in dental sleep medicine for adults and pediatrics, Invisalign, trigger point injections for oral facial pain and esthetics.
In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, two daughters, Lily and Stella, family and friends. She has a great number of interests including skiing, biking, reading, cooking and most importantly being a mom and wife.
